The UNOFFICIAL Guide to the Shenzhen Metro
Since December 28, 2004, the people of Shenzhen have benefited from the speed and convenience of an ultra-modern subway system.
In addition to the pages for each station (listed below), we have written a brief "Metro How-to" to initiate you into the process.
To date (early 2008), there are 19 stations open, on two lines.
Line 1: This line runs east to west, from the Luohu border crossing from Hong Kong, to Shijie Zhichuang (Windows of the World). It generally follows Shennan Lu, with these exceptions:
- Luohu and Guomao are south of Shennan, heading toward the border; Dongmen is slightly north of Shennan.
- Gangxia, Huizhan Zhongxin, and Gouwu Gongyuan Stations are on Guhua Lu.
There are currently fifteen stations on the line. They are:

| 12. Zhuzilin Station | Futian West |
| 13. Qiaochengdong Station | Nanshan East |
| 14. Huaqiaocheng Station | Nanshan East |
| 15. Shijie Zhichuang Station | Nanshan East |
Line 4: This line runs from south to north, from the Futian border crossing to the Choldren's Palace/Book City area, near Lianhuashan Park. Its route is generally between Jintian Lu and Yitian Lu, though it follows Jintian more closely toward the southern end.
There are currently five stations on the line. They are:
