Chinese name:

国贸地铁站 (guo mao di tie zhan)

Description:
Guomao Station is the 2nd station from the east end of Line 1 at Luohu, and the 14th station from the current west end at Shijie Zhichuang. It connects directly into Kingglory Plaza, and has exits to the popular Renmin Nan Lu shopping district.

The station is quiet, with minimal services, but you can find virtually everything you need in Kingglory Plaza. This is one of two stations (the other is Luohu) on Line 1 with a north-south orientation.

Platform Access:

Note: This is a two-level station. Down one level from the gates is the train to Shijie Zhichuang; the second level down is the train to Luohu.

Exit locations:

Note: In the same hallway as Exit B, there is another set of escalators (closer to Exit A) that takes you up to the south side of Jiabin Lu, next to the eastbound Jinguanghua Guangchang bus stop.

*Although Exit E has an up escalator, it is necessary to go down and then back up several stairs to reach the escalator, as the corridor passes under the tracks. So this isn't the best way to go if you're rolling something heavy, or have difficulty with stairs.

Destinations and exits:

Note: Some English names may be inaccurate; let us know in the comments below. Also, feel free to add destinations (including restaurants etc.) for any exit.

*As of Feb. 2008, Exits C and D remain closed. Exit B puts you on the same block as Exit C would have, and you can take Exit E and cross Jiabin Lu to reach the area of Exit D (see BuzzCard below for approximate locations).

Bus information:

Note: Bus information is notoriously changeable.

*Exit B is near the westbound bus stop. For the eastbound stop, take the unmarked escalator between Exits A and B, as described above in the foot note to the Exit locations chart.
