About "Remains to be Seen"

It's widely bruited that Shenzhen is less than 30 years old.

Hogwash.

This was a county seat covering the territory of modern Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Hong Kong, dating back centuries, with the headquarters at modern Nantou, Nanshan, where "Xin'an Ancient City" is today.

Its foundations go back even further. There are Neolithic remains, and the area was brought under China's wing in the Qin (214 BCE).

So, what's left? Lots. And we know where some of it is.

So come along, either in the armchair or in the field, and see some of "The Best of What's Left."
