About "Shutter Buzz"

We couldn't help but notice the number of fine art photographers working in Shenzhen. The city is increasingly attracting top-flight professionals with "wandering eyes."

Christopher Lay -- one of those "wandering eyes" himself -- is also a great writer and an avid explorer. He will ferret out these sometimes-reclusive artists and get their stories.

While the focus will be on Shenzhen-based expat photographers, all three of those categories are open to suggestions. So you may see a Hong-Kong-based expat photographer who does a lot of shooting in Shenzhen; or a Shenzhen-based local photographer whose work appeals to expats; or a Shenzhen-based expat artist in another medium.
